DJ Marv

DJ MarvDJ Marv is the founder of After5djs and the former spirited host of the Friday Vibes Mixshow, which aired on En Sound Radio every Friday from 3 to 5pm. DJ Marv, also known as Melomarv and Marvy Marv, began his career in Washington, DC as an announcer and program coordinator, and later held on-air positions at various radio stations in the DC Metro area. His on-air experience includes several music formats from Gospel, to Urban and Adult Contemporary, to Oldies. In 1997 he joined First Baptist Church of Glenarden (FBCG) and worked as an Audio Engineer until 2006. In this role DJ Marv operated a 40 channel Allen & Heath FOH mixing console for worship services and various church events.

DJ Marv has demonstrated versatility in the broadcasting and entertainment industry by successfully performing in diverse roles. As the President and featured disc jockey of After5djs & Entertainment, he has had the opportunity to emcee at various events on the east coast. He has been an organizer of ministry conferences and has been the narrator for several gospel and r&b projects. In his spare time he assists his cousins Byron and DeSean Jackson (Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver #10) at SportsRhythms producing sports camps, feature films and multimedia projects.

Having a compassionate heart for people, DJ Marv has spoken at youth rallies, Christian singles workshops and other special events. DJ Marv is committed to utilizing his God-given talents to promote the Kingdom of God and encourage others to discover their divine purpose. He considers his passion for music a divine appointment to his most important ministry yet; spreading the gospel through music.
